The final number, after Gala had to take a caesarian, is 6 dogs (1 liver) and 2 bitches (1 Liver).
The puppies are now 2 weeks old, and I have started to give them small amounts of minced meat, egg yolk and sour milk. I want to help Gala a little, as they grow with 4-500g in a week. Now they are 1000g - 1200g. We also cut the nails.
I am extremely happy with my two helpers. Kjersti (my co owner of Gala) was here during the birth, and she and Dag went to the veterinary clinic, when she had her caesarian. She comes every week to help me weighing them and cut the nails. And Tatiana (my assistant).
